Prati is Rome's most elegant residential neighbourhood, characterised by wide tree-lined boulevards, Umbertine architecture and high-end shopping on Via Cola di Rienzo. Just 500 metres from St. Peter's Basilica and 250 metres from the Vatican Museums, it's the ideal base for exploring the Vatican.

Less touristy than other central areas, Prati offers an authentically Roman atmosphere with excellent restaurants, cafés and the famous Trionfale market — one of the best food markets in the city.
